Jeon's Traditional Taekwondo
The Team of Taekwondo
Who We Are

Phylix Jeon
I am currently in training to be an instructor and assist Mr. Jeon with a few classes. I enjoy working with children and have a passion for Taekwondo. I have been training with Mr. Jeon for around ten years, so I’m familiar with how we run things at Jeon’s Taekwondo. I mainly teach beginner and intermediate classes, because I find that I work best with younger children. I’m not a particularly loud or extroverted person, but I can and will be a good leader for our students. Respect is a huge aspect of many martial arts, and I believe that respect needs to be mutual. Give and take, per se. So, when I give respect to the students, I expect it to be respected back.
Alexis Wong
Ms. Wong is a black belt at Jeon’s Traditional Taekwondo, and a member of the demonstration team since 2017.
She is currently enrolled at the University of Alberta to pursue her Bachelor of Education degree.
Ms. Wong enjoys working with students of all ages, and her students are encouraged to ask questions and seek help when they need it. She strives to keep the class environment fun and engaging, while ensuring that students maintain discipline and respect not only toward their instructors, but toward their family and peers.
One of the Taekwondo experiences Ms. Wong treasures dearly is performing with the demonstration team.
It taught her the value of teamwork, and helped her build confidence. She looks forward to sharing the valuable lessons she learns from Taekwondo with her students.
